Art in the County is a premier juried art show and sale held annually in June at the old Town Hall in Picton. The show features more than 70 of the county’s most talented artists in a broad range of work.

Eastern Ontario Photo Show
The Prince Edward County Arts Council is sponsoring the inaugural Eastern Ontario Photo Show to be held on the second floor at Books and Company, 289 Main Street in Picton from Saturday July 31 to Sunday August 8, 2010. The show will be open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. It will become the sixth Arts Event sponsored by the Arts Council. This juried show and sale will feature the photographic art of photographers living in Eastern Ontario and will have a Youth and Adult division. The two major goals of the organizing committee are firstly to enhance the ART of Photography and secondly to provide a high quality and professional display/gallery area where photographic artists can proudly display and sell their art. PEC Jazz Festival
The Jazz Festival is a five-day celebration of jazz held in August.
It features national and international jazz greats as well as upcoming
stars, and includes everything from concerts at the Regent Theatre, to
more intimate events in local wineries and restaurants, plus late-night
jam sessions in some of the best local pubs.

The Prince Edward County Music Festival
Bridging the Old and the New. The Festival presents chamber music with a unique and exciting focus in the Church of St. Mary Magdalene, Picton, an acoustically outstanding venue.
The Festival features a living Canadian composer presenting his/her
works along with works of other composers in three evening programs. It
combines and integrates classical music of today with well-known
repertoire of different eras.
Drawing from the
evening program,
Artistic Director
and Pianist Stephane
Lemelin, along
with some of Canada’s
finest musicians,
also present an
interactive educational
concert to school
children, an event
of growing interest.

The Maker's Hand
